Loss‑in‑weight feeder
A twin-screw gravimetric feeder for powders and granules, designed and fabricated in our Pinjore workshop. Load cells weigh the hopper continuously, and the controller adjusts the screw speed to hold the set feed rate.

How it works
The feeder measures the rate at which its own weight falls and corrects the screw speed to match the set rate.
Weigh
Load cells carry the hopper and measure its weight continuously.
Compare
The controller calculates the actual feed rate from the loss of weight and compares it with the set rate.
Correct
Screw speed is adjusted to hold the set rate as the bulk density of the material changes.
Refill
At low level the hopper is refilled quickly, and the feeder holds its last speed until weighing resumes.

Systems of several feeders
Feeders are supplied singly or as complete systems with refill stations, control panels and a shared HMI. In 2026 we delivered systems of two, three and six feeders to three plants of one detergent manufacturer.
